Liz O’Mahony has over 25 years experience as a salon owner, is one of the countries leading foil specialists and is the stylist whose demands for more professional options, led to the design of the Easyfoil Method of hair colouring, now used by thousands of salons across the UK and Europe.

Under Liz's guidance, Easyfoil offer courses designed to provide attendees close up demonstrations, advice and hands on experience covering a variety of finish options and techniques, including colour placement. Book your place on our next course here.

Basic Foiling Techniques Training session: is a half day course, ideally suited to newcomers to foiling or for those out of practise. Covering basic foiling techniques.

All materials, props, foil, etc are provided. On completion of the course, attendees will each receive attendance accreditation certificates and a take away step-by-step guide of the techniques covered during the course.

The course itinerary is as follows:
• Why foil? - Brief introduction, to the history, features and benefits of using foil as opposed to other methods.
• Techniques. Each technique is demonstrated and then attendees are put to task under supervision to practice the technique, using equipment provided by us
• Weaving/Slicing/Sweet paper wrappers, etc.
• A brief look, into differing types of foil, and tools available

Advanced Foiling Techniques Course: During this full day course, our trainers use live models and create a complete restyle and colour using techniques which “go beyond the basics” to show some stunning results.

Attendees will in addition to watching the trainer, use dummy heads to get hands on practice of the techniques covered during the day.
